The 'Arab Spring' and the Christian Nightmare.


Around the world, Orthodox Christians are preparing to celebrate the holiest of weeks on the Church calendar. On Sunday, we begin the week that leads up to the celebration of the resurrection of Our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ. The services of this week are some of the most profound of the Orthodox Church as we follow in the steps of Jesus on His way to the cross.
Most of us will celebrate the resurrection of Christ with family and friends. Some might head out to their favorite restaurant, and some will stay home and opt for a more relaxed meal around the family table. It is certainly a Norman Rockwell moment.
But things will be very different for Christians in Egypt and Syria. The very places that gave birth to Christianity and sheltered Jesus when His family was on the run from those who would kill Him, has become a killing field for Christians.
On July 15, 2012, the International Committee of the Red Cross declared the Syrian Civil War a "non-international armed conflict" -- the legal definition of a civil war. I find it interesting that it has been declared non-international, because the government of the United States has been supporting the rebels with almost $3 million in direct aid and equipment. The United States is involved in this civil war and has turned a blind eye to the murder of Christians and other religious minorities.
Since the war began in March of 2011, more than 70,000 people have died. A February estimate places the internally displaced at 3.6 million, and an additional 1.3 million have been forced to flee Syria for neighboring countries as refugees, all the while the government of the United States continues to support the very people responsible for the killing.
On Monday, two Orthodox bishops of the diocese of the city, Syriac Orthodox Archbishop Yohanna Ibrahim of the diocese of Aleppo and Greek Orthodox Metropolitan Boulos Yaziji, were kidnapped. The irony of their kidnapping is that they were returning from a meeting to attempt the release of two priests Fr. Michel Kayyal (Armenian Catholic) and Fr. Maher Mahfouz (Greek Orthodox), kidnapped in February and still remaining in the hands of the kidnappers. They were on a mission of peace, to bring aid and comfort, and they were taken hostage as part of the systematic extermination of the Christian population in Syria.
Recently the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom released a Special Report on the deteriorating situation in Syria. "Protecting and Promoting Religious Freedom in Syria" lists several occurrences of systematic extermination of the native Christian population. As an example, the city of Homs, which had an estimated Christian population of 160,000, has been reduced to just one thousand at last count. Greek Orthodox Priest Father Fadi Jamil Haddad was found killed outside of Damascus in September of 2012. He had been trying to secure the release of a parishioner that had been kidnapped. These are just a few examples of what is being carried out daily in Syria and supported by the government of the United States.
What has been called the "Arab Spring" in Syria has become the Christian Nightmare and it is high time that the United States government realize the part it has played and continues to play in this ethnic cleansing, genocide, holocaust whatever word you choose to describe what is being perpetrated on the religious minorities in Syria as well as Egypt.
In the Orthodox Church, the Saturday before Palm Sunday is set aside to remember the raising of Lazarus from the tomb. Lazarus was Jesus friend, and we are told in Scripture that Jesus wept when He heard the news of the death of His friend. Orthodox Christians around the world have joined in prayer that the two bishops kidnapped will be released from their tomb as well. There has been enough weeping already.

ሃይማኖት ኣይመሓየሽን’ዩ” ኢሎም ናይ ዝትንትኑ ገለ ጽሑፋት ትሕዝቶ ምስ ኣንበብኩ’የ ነዛ “ጸሓይ ከም በዲራ ህሌት” እትብል ኣበሃህላ ዘኪረ። ኣብታ “ክልተ ቕነ ኣብ ድፋዓት” እትብል መጽሓፍ ናይ ኣለምሰገድ ተስፋይ፡ ሓደ ናይ ስነ ጥበብ ባህግን ተገዳስነትን ዝነበሮ፡ ዝያዳ “ኦሮሞ” ብዝብል ሳጓ ዝፍለጥ፡ ተስፋልደት ዝበሃል ስዉእ ተጋዳላይ ኣሎ። ኦሮሞ፡ ሓደ እዋን ላባ ኣብ ዝተባህለ ቦታ ኣብ ሓደ ሩባ ማይ እናሰተየ ከሎ፡ ጸሓይ ኣብቲ ማይ ተንጸባርቕ ነበረት’ሞ፡ ነጸብራቓታ ድማ ዘይምኖ ትርኢት ፈጢሩ ነበረ። ነቲ ጸሓይ ዝፈጠረቶ ጽባቐ ዘስተብሃለሉ ግን ማንም ሰብ ዘይምንባሩ ኦሮሞ እናተገረመ፡ መወዳእታኡ ንሓደ ማይ ዝቐድሕ ዝነበረ ገባራይ ሓቢሩ ምስኡ ክዕዘብ ይዕድሞ። “ሰኒቱ እሊ?” ብምባል ድማ ይውከሶ። “ጽብቕቲ ዶ?” ማለቱ’ዩ። እቲ ገባራይ ግን ጽሉል ጌሩ ግዲ ወሲድዎ፡ ንጸሓይ ኣንቃዕሪሩ ድሕሪ ምጥማት፡ “ጸሓይ ከም በዲራ ህሌት!” ዝብል መልሲ ጥራይ ሃቦ፡ ከምቲ “ከመይ ኣለኻ?” ንዝበልዎ፡ “እንጣጢዕ ንዘርእ ኣለና” ዝብል ምላሽ ዝሃበ ኮይንዎ ድማ ኦሮሞ፡ “ምስ እንዛረቦ እኳ ጠፊኡና!” ጥራይ ከምዝበለ ኣለምሰገድ ተስፋይ ኣዘንትዩ’ሎ።

ምስ እንዛረቦ’ኳ ጠፊኡና!

ሃይማኖት ኣይመሓየሽን’ዩ” ዝብል ኣበሃህላ፡ እንታይ ማለት ምዃኑ ዋላ ነቲ ጸሓፊ ሓቲትካዮ ዘዕግብ መልሲ ዝህብ ኣይመስለንን። ዶግማን ቀኖናን ፈልዩ ከረድእ ዘይክእል ትሕዝቶ ዘለዎ ጽሑፍ እሞ በየናይ መለክዒ እዩ ብዛዕባ ምምሕያሽን ዘይምምሕያሽን ሃይማኖት ክዛረብ!! ብመሰረቱ፡ እቲ ሃይማኖታዊ ስርዓት ዝብል ቃል ምስቲ እምነት ዝብል ቃል ሓናፊጽና ንርእዮ እንተኾንና ድማ ንምርዳኡ ዝያዳ ከሸግር ምዃኑ ብኣጋኡ ምግማቱ ኣየጸግምን። እምነት ውልቃዊ ኽኸውን ከሎ፡ ሃይማኖታዊ ስርዓት ግን ማሕበራዊ እዩ፥ እምነት መሰረትን ዓንድን እንተደኣኾይኑ ኸኣ ሃይማኖታዊ ስርዓት ድማ ቀጽርን መንደቕን ይኸውን ማለት’ዩ። እምነት ኣብ ኩሉ ቦታ፡ ምስ ባህልን ግዜን ዘይቅየር ክኸውን ከሎ፡ ሃይማኖታዊ ስርዓት ግን ምስ ግዜ፡ ምስ ባህልን ቦታን ክለዋወጥ ዝኽእል እዩ። ኦርቶዶክሳዊ እምነት ከም ኣብነት እንተወሰድና፡ ናይ ኩለን ኦሬንታል ኣብያተክርስቲያናት እምነት ሓደን ዘይቅየርን እዩ። እቲ ኣብ ግብጺ፡ ሶርያን ህንድን ዝርከብ ኦርቶዶክሳዊ ስርዓት ግን ብብዙሕ መለክዒታት ምስቲ ኣባና ዘሎ ሃይማኖታዊ ስርዓት ሓደ እዩ ክትብሎ ዝከኣል ኣይኮነን። ነዚ ሓሳባት ንምርዳእ ግር ዝብል እንተኾይኑ፡ ነቲ ንሕና ብእምነት ዘይኮነስ ብሃይማኖታዊ ልማድ እንኽልክሎ ምብላዕ ማንቲለን ሓሰማን ኣባታቶም ፍቑድ’ዩ ኢና ንብል ዘለና። ኣባና ሳእኒ ወዲኻ ናብ ቤተክርስቲያን ምእታው ነውሪ እንተኾይኑ ድማ ኣባታቶም ግን ከምኡ ምግባር ነውሪ ዝበሃል የብሉን። ኣብ ሃይማኖታዊ ልማድ እኳ እንተተፈላለና ኣብ እምነት ግን ምንም ዘፈላሊ ዘይብልና ሓደ ኢና!!

ዶግማን ቀኖናን

ዶግማ ማለት እምነት ማለት እዩ፥ ቀኖና ማለት ድማ ስርዓት። መሰረተ እምነትና ኣብተን ሓሙሽተ ኣዕማደ ምስጢርን ሾብዓተ ምስጢራተ ቤተክርስቲያንን ክጠቓለል ዝኽእል፡ ኣብ ጸሎተ ሃይማኖት ድማ ብንጹር ተገሊጹ ዘሎን እኳ እንተኾነ ብሰፊሑ ግን ኣብ ሕጊ ናይ ኤርትራ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋህዶ ቤተክርስቲያን ብንጹር ሰፊሩ ከምዘሎ፡ መሰረተ እምነትና መጽሓፍ ቅዱስ እዩ። ስለዚ ንምህሮ መጽሓፍ ቅዱስ ክንልውጦ ይኹን ከነመሓይሾ ኣይንኽእልን መሰል’ውን የብልናን። “ሃይማኖት ኣይመሓየሽን’ዩ” ዝብል ኣምር እምበኣር ኣብ ከምዚ ኩነት ጥራይ እዩ ትርጉም ክህልዎ ዝኽእል። ቀኖና ማለት ግን ስርዓት ማለት እዩ’ሞ ቅድሚ ሕጂ ብሓሙሽተ ቀዳስያን ጥራይ ክግበር ዝእዘዝ ዝነበረ ስርዓት ኣብዚ እዋን እዚ ብሓደ ካህን ትራይ ምሉእ ቅዳሴ ክግብር ምፍቃድ ማለት እዩ። ስለዚ ቀኖና ከከማድላይነቱ ከመሓይሽን ክልወጥን ይከኣል’ዩ፡ ዶግማ ግን ፈጺሙ ዘይለዋወጥ ጸኒዑ ዝነብር መሰረተ እምነት እዩ። ገለ ካብቲ ኣብ ሃይማኖትና ዝተገብረ ምምሕያሻት ምጥቃሱ እምበኣር ነቲ ሃይማኖት ኣይመሓየሽን’ዩ ዝብል ድፉን ኣርእስቲ ቀሊዑ ከርእየና ይኽእል እዩ ዝብል ተስፋ ኣለኒ።

ያሬዳዊ ዜማ ካብ ጥንቲ ኣይነበረን

ሃይማኖት ተዋህዶ ናብ ከባቢና ክኣቱ ከሎ፡ (ገለ ሰባት ሃይማኖት ተዋህዶ ኣባና ዝጀመረ እዩ ዝመስሎም እሞ እቲ ሓቂ ከምኡ ከምዘይኮነ እግረ መገድና ጥቕስ ከነብሎ ሰናይ እዩ፡ሽዑ ያሬዳዊ ዜማ ዝበሃል ክነብር ኣይክእልን እዩ። ቅዱስ ያሬድ ኣብ ሻድሻይ ክፍለዘመን ወይ ልክዕ ንምዃን ኣብ505 .ም ከምዝተወልደ’ዩ ታሪኽ ዝነግረና፡ ስለዚ ያሬዳዊ ዜማ ድሒሩ ዝኣተወ እምበር ካብ ጥንቲ ዝነበረ ከምዘይኮነ ንምግማቱ ኣየጸግምን። እቲ ንቤተክርስቲያኑ ጸጋታት ብምዕዳል ዘሀብትማ ጐይታ ግን ንቕዱስ ያሬድ ናይ ዜማ ውህበት ብምሃብ ግርማ ቤተክርስቲያንና ዝኾነ ዜማ ረኸብና። እታ ሽዑ ዝነበረት ቤተክርስቲያን ነቲ ብቕዱስ ያሬድ ዝመጸ ዜማ ኣይንቕበሎን እንተትብልሲ እቲ ውህበት ጸጋ ኾን ማዕረ ክንደይ ምኸሰርናዮ ኔርና?! ብርግጽ ምስ ድርሰታት ቅዱስ ያሬድ ኣብ ቤተክርስቲያን ዝመጹ ሓድሽቲ ናይ ስርዓት ለውጥታት ከምዝተኣታተዉ ድማ ዘየተሓታትት ብሩህ ይመስለኒ።

ጳጳሳት ሓበሻ ካብ ጥንቲ ኣይነበሩን

እታ ብመገዲ ኣባ ሰላማ ከሣቴ ብርሃን ሃይማኖት ተዋህዶ ዝተቐበለት ቤተክርስቲያን ሓበሻ (ኤርትራ ወ ኢትዮጵያንልዕሊ 1600 ዓመታት ናይ ገዛእ ርእሳ ጳጳስ ይኹን ባዕለ-ምምሕዳር ክህልዋ ክሳዕ ኣብ ፍትሓ ነገሥት ብዝሰፈረ ኣንቀጽ ፍቑድ ኣይነበረን። ለውጢ ኣብ ጉዕዞ ህይወት ዘይተርፍ ነገር ስለዝኾነ ግን ብፍቓድ እግዚኣብሄር ብጻዕሪ ሊቃውንተ ቤተክርስቲያንን ሃጸይ ኃይለሥላሴን ብ1951.ም ንመጀመርታ ግዜ ናይ ባዕላ ፓትርያርክ ክህልዋ ከምዝተፈቕደ ከነውተውዕሎ የድልየና።

ሕገ ልቦና ኢሉ ብራና ዝበለ፡ ወረቐት ኢሉ ሶፍት ኮፒ ምባሉ ኣይተርፎን

ኣብ ኤርትራ ብተበግሶን መሪሕነት ንቡር ዕድ ዲሜጥሮስ ምንቅስቓስ ማሕበረ ሓዋርያት ምስ ተጀመረ፡ ኣብ ቤተክርስቲያን ዘጋጥም ዝነበረ ዋሕዲ መጻሕፍቲ ካብ ብራና ናብ ወረቐት ብምስግጋር ብዘመናዊ ማሕተም ከምዝሕተም ኣብ ዝተገብረሉ፡ “ብራና እንተዘይኮይኑ፡ ናይ ወረቐት ጽሑፍ፡ ቅዱስ ዘይመስሎም ከምዝነበሩ ናይ ቅድሚ ትማሊ ተዘክሮ’ዩ። ቤተክርስቲያን ነቲ ዘመናዊ ሕትመት ኣብያቶ ኔራ እንተትኸውን ግንሲ ኣብ ከመይ ደረጃ ኾን ምሃለና ኢልካ ምሕሳብ እምበኣር የድሊ። ሕጂውን እንተኾነ ካብ ወረቐት ብመገዲ መርበባት ሓበሬታ ኣቢሉ ናብ ሶፍት ኮፒ ዝቕየረሉ መድረኽ ንምድያብ ድሕር ክንብለሉ ዘይግባእ ምዃኑ ኸኣ ብኣጋኡ ክንሓስበሉ የድልየና።

ካብ ባዕዳዊ ቋንቋ ናብ ግእዝ፡ ካብ ግእዝ ናብ ትግርኛ፡ ትግረ፡ ኩናማ ወዘተ

መጽሓፍ ቅዱስ ናብ ትግርኛ ተተርጕሙ ምስ ቀረበ፡ ምኽንያቱ ብዘይርድኣካ ብዙሓት ሕጉሳት ኣይነበሩን። አረ፡ “ጸላም መጽሓፍ ኣጥፍእ” ዝብሉ’ውን ከምዝነበሩ ኣርኪብናሉ ኢና። ለውጢ ዘይቅበል ርእሲ፡ ጸሓይ ከም ቀደማ ምህላዋ እምበር፡ ሕጂ እቲ ሙቐታ ኣብ ዝተፈላለየ ምንጪ ጸዓት ክውዕል ክኢሉ ከምዘሎ ክርዳእ ዝኽእል ኣይኮነን። መጽሓፍ ቅዳሴ ናብ ትግርኛ ምስ ተተርጐመ ዘጋጠመ ብድሆ ድማ ካብዚ ዘይሰንፍ እዩ ኔሩ። ገለ ገሌና ክሳዕ “እዚ መጽሓፍ እዚ ናይ ከኒሻ እዩ” ንምባል ዝተሃንደድና ምንባርና ውን ይዝከረኒ። ህድእ ኢልና ምስ ሓሰብናሉ ግን ብመሰረቱ’ውን እቲ ስርዓተ ቅዳሴ ይኹን ዋላ እተን 14 ቅዳሴታት ሓንቲ’ኳ ትኹን ካብኣተን ብቛንቋ ግእዝ ዝተደርሰት ከምዘይኮነት የግዳስ ካብ ካልእ ቋንቋ በቶም ሽዑ ዝነበሩ ሊቃውንተ ቤተክርስቲያን ናብ ቋንቋ ግእዝ ከምዝተተርጐመ ምስ ተረዳእና ግን ንምቕባሉ ድሕር ኣይበልናን። ሕጂ’ውን እንተኾነ እምበኣር ነቲ ንምህናጽ ህይወት ደቂ ሰባት ብግዲ ዘድሊ መጽሓፍ ቅዱስ ናብ ካልኦት ቋንቋታት ክትርጐም ከምዝግብኦ ክንደፍእን ክንሕግዝን ከምዘድልየና ብሩህ ክኸውን የድልዮ።

መዛሙራት በኣርጋኖን ወኣውታር ወበእንዚራ


ኣብ ኦርቶዶክሳዊት ኤርትራ ከም ዘማራይ ዳዊት ብበገና ምዝማር ዝውቱር ዝነበረሉ ግዜ ከምዝንበረ ኣብ ዝኾነ ጽሑፍ ኣይረኸብኩን። ብርግጽ ኣብታ ጐረቤትና ዝኾነት ኢትዮጵያ ግን በገና ዝውቱር መሳርሒ ሙዚቃ እዩ። ስለዚ "ንእግዚኣብሄር ብበገና ከነመስግኖ ይግባእ" ዝብል ሰብ እንተተንስአ፡"እዚ ኣብ ሃገርና ኣይነበረን እሞ ኣይንቕበሎን ኢናክንብሎ ልቦና ኣይኮነን። ንእግዚኣብሄር ብዋጣ እንተመስገንናዮ ኸ እንተበልና ድማ ብርግጽ ዋጣ፡ ኣብ ባህልና ምስ ምሕማይ፡ ምስ ዝሙት፡ ፍቅረ ንዋይን ተውኔትን ድኣ እምበር ምስ ቅዳሴን ውዳሴን ዘኽይድ ዛንታ ኣይነበራን፡ ይኹን እምበር ካብኡ መንዚዕና ንኽብሪ እግዚኣብሄር ከነውዕላ ኢና ዝብለና እንተተረኸበ ግን "መርሓባክንብሎ ደኣ እምበር "ብዋጣ ጌርካ ኣይዝመርን እዩክንብሎ ስንፍናና ጥራይ እዩ ዘመልክት፡ ብተመሳሳሊ መገዲ ብኽራር፡ ብጊታር፡ ብኣርጋኖን (ኦርጋንወዘተ ክንዝምር ኢና እንተተባህለ ድማ መርሓባ!


ዘመናዊ ምህሮ ዓለም፡ ምህሮ ሰይጣን’ዩ ይበሃል ነበረ

ዘመናዊ ትምህርቲ ብብዙሓት ናይ ቤተክርስቲያን ኣቦታት ምህሮ ሰይጣን’ዩ ይበህል ከምዝንበረ ሓሶት እዩ ትብሉ እንተለኹም፡ ብርግጽ ንቤተክርስቲያንና ዘይትፈልጡ ሰባት ጥራይ ኢኹም ክትኮኑ ትኽእሉ። ዛንታ መምህር ይስሃቕ ተወልደመድህን ኣብ ዘንበብኩሉ ዘሐበነኒ ተግባር እንተሎ ግን ኣብ ምጉስጓስ ምትእትታው ዘመናዊ ትምህርቲ ገለ ኣባላት ቤተክህነት ልዑል ኣበርክቶ ምግባሮምን ንባዕሎም መምህራን ኮይኖም ምስታፎምን እዩ። ጓለንስተይቲ ምህሮ ዓለም ክትምሃር ይኹን ኣብ መንፈሳዊ ኣገልግሎት ክትሳተፍ ፍቑድ ኣይነበረን። ሕጂ ግን እግዚኣብሄር ይመስገን፡ ከበሮ ቤተክርስቲያን ክትሃርም፡ ብዜማ ክትዝምር፡ ክንርእያ ከለና፡ ነቲ ነጸብራቕ ርኢና ደኣ ነድንቕን ንግረምን እምበር፡ “ጸሓይ ከም በዲራ ህሌት” ሲ ኣይንብልን!!

እቶም ኣብ ቤት ኣምላኽ ንግዲ ከም ንቡር ዝቆጸሩዎ ።ኣቦታቶም ቤተ ንግዲ ዝገበሩዎን ከምኡ ኢሉ ዝጸንሖምን ሓደ (50 )ሓሙሳ ዓመት ዘይምልእ ሰበኣይ መጺኡ ከውጽኦም ከሎ ከድንጽዎም ባህርያዊ እዩ።ስልምንታይሲ ካብኡ ብዕድመ ብትምህርቲ ኣብ ዓይኒ እቲ ህዝቢ ዝተራእዩ ሰባት ብዙሓት ስለ ዝነበሩ፡ ሊቃውንቲ ብኾፎም ሓደ ሓድሽ ነብዩ በዓል ናዝረት መጺኡ ዓገብ ኢሉ። እዚ ዓገብ ዝብል ዘሎ ደኣ መን እዩ ብምባል ድማ ኩላ ተገሪማ።ሎሚ እንበኣር ኣብ ቤተ ክርስትያና ንዝርኣዩ ጉዳያት ዓገብ ክንብል ከለና ንዝቀርበልና ስቅ በሉ ዝብል ቃል ክንግርሃሉ የብልናን። ቤት ኣምላኽ ቤት ኣምላኽ እዩ።ን ቤት ኣምላኽ ቤተ ፖሎቲካ ኣይትግበሩዎ መጋበሪ ረብሓ ኣይትግበሩዎ ከምታ ኣቦታትና ቅዱሳን ዘጽንሕዋ ደኣ ንኺድ ክንብል ጎይታ ሎሚ ብ መንፈስ ቅዱሱ ገይሩ ይጽውዓና ኣሎ።
ሓንቲ ቤተ ኣምላኽ ኣብ ዓይኒ ኣምላኽ ክትርአ ተኾይና  ውሽጣ ኩሉ ግዜ ክትፍትሽ ይግብኣ ስለምንታይ ኣምላኽ ብኹልንትናና ንጹሃትን ጽሩያትን ክንከውን ይደልየና።(ሮሜ12፡1)እንተኾነ ነገርና ኣብ ዓይኒ ኣምላኽ ጥራሕ ዘይኮነስ ኣብ ዓይኒ ሰብ እኳ ነገራትና ክሽፈን ኣይከኣለን ዘሎ  ሓላፊ መገዲ ከም ዝስሕቀና፡ኮይና ንርከብ።ሎሚ ሰኣን ከመይ ኣለና ውሽጥና ንፍትሽ ጸላእትና ክምክሑልናን ብኡኡ ገይሮም ከሳቅዩን ይርኣዩ ኣለዉ።ሎሚ መሳርሒ ፖሎቲካ ዝኾኑ ኮይና ኣለና ነዚ ሕርሚ እዚ ሎሚ ከነውጽኦ ተዘይፈቲናን፡ ከምቶም ጎይታ ካብቲ ቤተ መቅደስ ከውጽኦም ከሎ ኣታ ግደፍ ዝበልዎን ተጸሊሉ እዩ  ዝብልዎን ነበሩ ።ነዚ ቃልዚ ንዘውጽኡ ተጸሊሎም እዮም።ኣይበሃልን ክንብል ተጀሚርና ግን ን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ዘይኮና እንመስልሲ ንዕኦም ነቶም ጠበርቲ ርእሶም ንመስል ምዃና ዝሕብር እዩ።እዚ ድማ በፍጹም ክርስቲያንዊ ስነ ምግባር ኣይኮነን። እሞ ነፍሲ ወከፍ ሂወትና ን መርምር።ሆሳዕና እንበኣር ከቢድ ሓላፍነት እንስከመላ መዓልቲ እያ።ትሕትናን ሓቅን ተዓጢቅካ ነፍስኻን ኣገልግሎትካን ትምምረላ፡ ን ኣምላኽ ዘየኽብር ኣምላኽ ዘይፈትዎ ባህርን ጠባይን ካብ ሂወትካን ኣገልግሎትካን እቲ ሓያL መጺኡ ብጭግራፍ ገይሩ ከይጎሓፈካ ባዕልኻ ኣብ ዓይንኻ ዘሎ ጉንዲ ቆሪጽካ ተውጽኣላ ቅድስቲ መዓልቲ።
እቶም ቤተ መቅደስ ቤተ ምስያጥ ኮይና ስቅ ኢሎም ዝርእይዋ ነበሩ ሰባት የእምሮኦም ከይበርህ ብዕውሩ ተረፈ፡ኣምላኽ እዛ ዓለም እዚኣ ኣዐሮም።(2ይቆሮ4፡4)እቶም ኣብ ግዜ ሆሳዕና ሆሳዕና ኢሎም ዝዝምሩ ነበሩ ህዝቢ ዓርቢ ስቅለት  ይሰቀል ኢሎም ክጭድሩን ወዓሉ።እንበኣር እዞም ሎሚ ቤተ እግዚኣብሔር እንዳሓመመ ስቅ ኢሎም ዝርእዩ ዘለዉ ጽባሕ ስቀልዎም ክብሉና ምኻኖም ፈሊጥና ንዝመጸና ፈተናን ግፍዕን ክሕድሰና የብሉን።ተመሃራይ ከም መምህሩ ጊልያ ኸኣ ከም ጎይታኡ ስለ ዝኾነ።
 ደቂ መዛሙርቱ ብ ዓብይ ድምጺ ከመስግንዎ ዝሰምዑ ሓያሎ ፈሪሳውያንን “ንደቂመዛሙርቲኻ ግንሓዮም” ስቅ ኣብሎም በሊዎ። እዚኦም እኳ ስቅ እንተበሉስ እዞም ኣእማን ክጭድሩ እዮም በለ።ምጭዳር መቸስ ማዕሮ ክንደይ ከቢድ ምዃኑ ኣይንስሕቶን ኢና።ንሱ እቲ ጎይታ ክዝምሩ ዘይኮነ ኢሉስ ዉዕዉዕ መዝሙር ነቲ መዝሙር ናብ ዝለዓለ ጥርዙ ንምግላጽ ክጭድሩ እዮም በለ።ኣብ ቤተ መቅደስ ሕዉራትን ሓንካሳትን ናብኡ መጽኡ ንሱ ድማ ኣሕወዮም።ኣብ ቤተ መቅደስ ዝነበሩ ህጻናት ድማ  ዓው ኢሎም ሆሳዕና ንወዲ ዳዊት ኢሎም ዘመሩ።
ነዚ ኹሉ ካብ ፈለማ ደቂ መዛሙርቱ ስም እግኣብሄር ዝሰምዑን ነቲ ዝገበሮ ተኣምራትን  ዝርኣዩ ሊቃውንቲ ካህናትን ጸሓፍትን ፡የዒንቶም ደም መልኦ፡ተናደዱ እሞ እዚኣቶም ዝብልዎስ ትሰምዖዶ ኣለኻ በልዎ።የሱስ ድማ እወ ካብ ኣፍ ቆልዑን ህጻናትን ምስጋና ኣዳሎኻ ዝብልሲ እኳዶ ኣየንበብኮምን ኢኹም >>በሎም።ሎሚ እንበኣር ስቅ በሉ ወንጌል ኣይትንገሩ ሓቂ ኣይትዛረቡ ተዓበሱ ሓቀኛ ምስጋና ኣይተቅርቡ፡ኢየሱስ ኢየሱስ ኣይትበሉ ኢሎም ክኽልክሉና ንዝፍትኑን ይጽዕሩ ንዘለዉ ንሕና እኳ ስቅ ተበልና ኣኽራናት ክዘሉን ክምስክሩን ምዃኖም ከነተሓሳስቦም ንደሊ፡እወ ንሕና እኳ ስቅ ተበልና የእማን ክጭድሩ እዮም።ይቅጽልል ናብ 4ይ ክፋል,,

ሆሳዕና ሻሙናይ (8ይ) ሰንበት
ሰብ የእምሮ ኢና ፈላጣት ኢና ንህዝቢ ነስምዕ ኢና ህዝቢ ዘይንዓና ንመን ከይሰምዕ ኢሎም ብትዕቢት ተነፊሖም ዝነበሩ ፈሪሳውያን ኣምላኽ ንሶም ብኾፎም ከለዉ ነቲ ህያው ቃል ብኻልእ ተነግሮም።(ማቴ23፡28-29)ቤቶም ድማ ዓንያ ተረፈት።ብናይ ሰጣን ምኽሪ ብትዕቢት ተታሒዞም ዘንጊዖም ዝነበሩ ሊቃውንቲ ኮፍ ኢሎም ከለዉ  ናይቲ ሽዑ ዝነበሩ  ኣገልገልቲ ኣምላኽ ብ ኾፎም ከለዉ ።ኣምላኽ ናይ ህጻናት ልሳን ከፈተ ምስጋና ካብ ህጻናት ኣዳለወ እቶም ፈላጣት ኢና በሃልቲ ግን ተዓኒዶም ንምስጋና የሱስ እቲ ህያዎ ምጻር ስኢኖም ቀዘዝ ኢሎም ተረፉ ክብሪ ን ኣምላኽ ይኹን።ኣምላኽ ብትሑታት ዝግልገል ኣምላኽ ነቶም ዝተሓቱ ዝግለጸሎም ኣምላኽ ፡መንፈሱ ዝህቦም ምስቶም መቛሸሽትን ፡ጠበርትን ንነፍሶም ሊቃውንቲ ገይሮም ዝሓስቡዋን ዘይሓብር መስተንክራዊ ዝኾነ ኣምላኽ።ምስ ተጻረፍትን መጸለምትን ዘይመክር ኣምላኽ ኣሰራርሕኡ ፍሉይ ዝኾነ ኣምላኽ።
ሎሚ እንበኣር ኣይንገራህ ከም ጸሓፍትን ፈሪሳውያንን ነገራት ከይፈሽለና።ዘይ ንሕና ኢና ንገብር ዘይ ህዝቢ ንዓና ኢዩ ዝሰምዕ።ዘይ ከምዚ ኢልና ከነስምዖ ንኽእል ኢና ኢልና፡ነፍሲና ከይነታልል።ኣብ ቅድመ ዓይኒና ንሕና ኮፍ ኢልና ከለና ዘሰንብድ ነገር ከይሰርሕ ቀዘዝ ከይንብል።ነዚ ናይ ይሁዳ ኣንበሳ ክብሩ ነዘንቱ ተኣቢና ግን ቤትና ዓንያ ክትተርፍ እታ መንግስቲ ኸኣ ንዝፈሪ ህዝቢ ከይትወሃብ ጥንቃቀን ምስትውዓልን ከዲሊየና ኢዩ።(ማቴ21፡43)(ሉቃ8፡18)
             ኩቡር ክርስትያን
ን ሃዋርያት ልቦም ዘንቀደ ኣምላኽ ልብኻ ከንቅድን ኣጸቢቁ ክግለጸልካ ናብኡ ብትሕትና ቀሪብካ ጸሊ።ንኹሉ ዝንዕቖ ፍጥረት ዘይንዕቅ ካብ ሓመደ ኣልዒሉ ሰብ ዝገብር ኣምላኽ ምዃኑ ኣስተውዕል፡ ምንም እኳ ሓጢኣተኛታት ተኾና ብንስሓ ናብኡ ክንቀርብ ከለና ክቅበለና ከም ዝኽእል ፈሊጥካ ብኹልንትናኻ ንቅረቦ ንሱ ሕያዋይ እዩ።ገለ ገለ ሰባት ክብሪ ይደልዩ ኣይረኽቡን ድማ ኣየ ክብለሎም ይደልዩ ኣይረኽቡን ድማ፡ህዝቢ ኩሉ ክፈትዎም ይደልዩ፡ ኣይኮነሎምን ድማ ስለምንታይ ምዃኑ ትፈልጥ ዶ ናይ ካርስቶስ ማሕደር ን ሂወቶም ስለ ዘይገበሩዋ እዩ።ናይ ክርስቶስ ማሕደር ን ሂወትካ ክትከውን ተደሊኻ ቅድም ናይ ክርስቶስ ማሕደር ክኸውን ዝኽእል ሰብ እንታይ ምስ ዝኸውን እዩ በል።ኣብኡ ን ሂወትካ ፈትሻ ተዘየሊኻ ከመይ ገርካ ምሕደር ክርስቶስ ክትከውን ከም ዘለካ ጸዓርን ጸልን፡
እዛ ን የሱስ ክርስቶስ ዝጾረት ኣድጊ ኣስተውዕላ፡ ብኹሉ ዝተናዕቀት ቆርበታ ሰብ ኣይንጸፎ”ጸበኣ ሰብ ኣይሰትዮ፡ ስጋኣ ሰብ ኣይበልዖ፡ጥራሕ ንሕስራን ሰብ ዝደልያ ንሱ ክኸብረላ ደለያ፡ ሓደ ሓደ ግዜ ኣምላኽ ይመጽእ ክጥቀመልና ይደልየና ኣብ ቦታና ስለ ዘይረኽበና ድማ እቲ ንዓና ተባህለ ን ካልኦት ይወሃብ።ንርእሶም ክብረትን ተደላን ዝደልዩ ሰባት መምህር ኢሎም ክጽውዕዎም ዝደልዩ ሰባት ግን ኩሉ ኣይረኽብዎን እዮም።ክትከብር ኣብ ታሕቲ ጽናሕ ኣምላኽ ድማ ልዕል ከብለካ እዩ። ናይ ክብሪ ወናኒ የሱስ ክርስቶስ እቲ ተሰቅለ እዩ።መንፈሶም ዝተሰብረ ስለ ቃሉን ወንጌሉን ነፍሶም የሕሊፎም ዝሃቡ ቅዱሳን ግን ነፍሶም ማሕደር መንፈስ ቅዱስ ኮነት።
ናቱ ማህደር ካብ ምዃኖም ዝተላዕለ ድማ ኢና ንሕና ነኽብሮም ንሱ ባዕሉ ናይ ቅዱሳን ክብሪ እዩ።እወ እሱ ክብርና እዩ እሞ ስለ ቃሉ ንምምስካር ንሙማት ንምስቃል፡ ስለ  ሓቂ ንምሕሳር ኣይትማታእ ሽዑ ንሱ ልዕል ከብለካ እዩ።ብ ቃሉ ምስ ማንም ኣካል ዋጋ ዕዳጋ ኣይትእቶ፡ንቃሉ ድማ ምስ ማንም ቃል ኣይተነጻጽሮ፡ኣይተዋዳድሮ ቃል ኣምላኽ ክብርኻ እዩ ብፍላይ ድማ ብ ወንጌል ንእሽቶ እትበሃል ሸለል ኣይትበል ሸለልትነት ን ጸሓፍትን ፈሪሳውያንን ካብ ኣምላኽ ክፍንፈኑ ዝገበሮም ባህሪ እዩ። ቀዳምነት ነቲ ሆሳዕና እንዳበሉ ዝተቀበሉዎ ህያው ጎይታ ሃብ ፡ ሽዑ ኣምላኽ በኣኻ ገይሩ ክኸብር ከሎ ክትርኢ ኢኻ።

ቅዳሴ ጎርጎርዮስ ቅዳሴ
                   ናይ ዕለት ትምህርቲ
ኣብዚ ዕለት እዚ መሲሕ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ናብ ኢየሩሳለም ክኣቱ ከሎ ዝተዘመረ መዝሙር እዩ።<< ሆሳዕና ን ወዲ ዳዊት ብስም እግዚኣብሔር ዝመጽእ ብሩኽ እዩ ሆሳእና ኣብ ኣርያም ይብል ነበረ። ናይ ዕለቱ ትምህርቲ  እውን ነዚ እዩ ኣምጺኡ ናይ ቅዱስ ያረድ ስያማዊ ቃል እውን ካብዚ ተበገሰ እዩ ሆሳእና ኢሉ ነዛ ሰንበት ክህባ ዝወሰነ።
ጎይታናን መድሓኒናን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስን ደቂ መዛሙርቱን ናብ ኢየሩሳለም ቀረባ ናብ ዝኾነት ከረን ደብረዘይት ኣብ እትርከብ  ቤተ ፋጌ  እትበሃል ቦታ በጽሑ። <<ኢየሩሳሌም>> ማለት ናይ ሰላም ከተማ ክኸውን ከሎ።<<ቤተ ፋጌ>> ማለት ድማ ናይ በለስ ቤት  ወይ ድማ ቦታ የስምዕ።ብ ናይ ኣቦታትና ኣበሃህላ ድማ ዝተመሳቀለ ጎደና ተባሂሉ ተተርጊሙ ንረኽቦ።ጎይታናን መድሓኒናን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ  ን ደቂ መዛሙርቱ ናብ ኣብ ቅድመኹም ዘላ ዓዲ ኪዱ። ኣብኣ ምስ ኣቶኹም፡ ሰብ ዘይተወጥሖ እሱር ጻዕብ ኣድጊ ክትረኽቡ ኢኹም። ንእኡ ፈቲሕኩም ኣምጽእዎ።፴፩ - ሓደ፡ ስለምንታይ ትፈትሕዎ ኣሎኹም? ኢሉ እንተ ሐተተኩም ከኣ፡ ጐይታ ይደልዮ ኣሎ፡ በልዎ።ሃዋርያት ፈቲሖም ኣምጽኡሉ፡እዚ እውን ትርጉም ነይሩዎ ናይ ሃወርያት  ኣገልግሎት ንዝተኣስሩ  ቃለ ወንጌል ሰቢኽካ ምፍታሕ ምዃኑ እዩ ዝተገብረ።
ልቦም ብኣጋንንቲ ዝተኣስሩ ናይ ሓጢኣት እሱራት ኣለዉ፡ነዚኦም ካብ ዘለዉዎ ክፍትሑ ን ተመሃሩኡ ኣዘዘ።ተፈቲሖም ማህደር መንፈስ ቅዱስ ክኾኑንን ኣምላክ ክኸብረሎምን ነገረ።እዚ መልእኽቲ እዚ ንዓና እውን ይምልከተና እዩ።ነቶም ብሓጥያትን ኣጸየፍቲ ልምዲታትን ናብ ኣምላኽ ዘይብጽሑ ባህልታትን ሓግሒግና ብምግሓፍ ን ሰባት ካብዚ ዘለዉዎ መዝማዝን ጠባርን መፈስ ወንጌል ሰቢኽና ክንፈትሖም ይግባእ ንዑ ናብ ቤት ኣምላኽ ወንጌል ተመሃሩ ንበሎም ንዑ ንበሎም እንታይ ኢልኩሞም ተኢሎምና ድማ ጎይታ ይደልዮም ኣሎ ንበሎም።
ክንደይ እሱራት ኮን እዮም ኣብ ከባቢና ዘለዉ። እሞ ድማ  ንባዕላቶም  ብ ሓይልታት ጽልመት ተኣሲሮም ከለዉ ን ሰባት ካብ ማእሰርትኹም ከነውጽኣኩም ኢና ዝብሉ ሓይልታት ጽልመት ክንደይ ኮን እዮም።ንባዕልና እውን ካብኦም ከይንኸውን መዓልታዊ ነፍስና ክንምርምርን ክንፍትሽን ይግብኣና እወ እቲ ኣባኻ ዘሎ ብርሃን ጸልማት ከይከውን ተጠንቀቅ።ሉቃ11፡35)
ኣብ ትንቢት ዘካርያስ9፡9 ኣቲ ጓል ጽዮን፡ ኣዚኺ ተሐጐሲ፡ ኣቲ ጓል የሩሳሌም፡ እልል በሊ። እንሆ ንጉስኪ፡ ንሱ ጻድቕ፡ መድሓንን ትሑትን እዩ፡ ኣብ ኣድጊ፡ ኣብ ጻዕብ ኣድጊ ተወጢሑ ናባኺ ይመጽእ ኣሎ። ከም እተባህለ  ሃዋርያት ኣብ ዝባን እታ ዒሉ ኣንጸፍሉ።ናይ ዓለም ሓጢኣት እተርሕቅ ሓድሽ ልብሲ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ልብሲ ሕፍረትና እትሽፍን እትጋርድ ኣምላኽ እንዳበሉ ኣንጸፍሉ።ኣድጊ ካብ እንስሳታት ዝተነዓቀት እያ።እዚ እውን ርእሶም ንዘትሓቱን ዝተሰብረ መንፈስ ንዘለዎም ጎይታ ከም ዝምልከቶምን ከም ዝጥቀመሎምን ከም ዝደልዮምን ን ኸረድእ ደልዩ እዩ።ኢሳ43፡23፡ማቴ11፡29።መዝ 50፡17-18። ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ኣንኳንዶ ንዓኻስ ነታ ዝተወጣሕካያ ኣድጊ እዃ ሓመድ ክትጽየቅ ኣይግባኣን ኢሎም ክዳውንቶም ኣንጸፉ እዚ ኹሉ ድማ ንንጉስ ዝግባእ ክብረት እዩ ዝነበረ። 2ይ ነገስት9፡13። ሆሳእና  ን  ወዲ ዳዊት ሆሳዕና ብ ኣርያም>> ኢሎም  ዘመሩ።
ሆሳዕና ማለት ህጂ ኣድሕን ማለት እዩ። ኣብቲ ናይ ዳዊት ቃለ መዝሙር እውን ኦ እግዚኦ ኣድህንሶ፡ዎእግዚኣብሄር፡ ኣድሕን ኰታ፡ኣታ እግዚኣብሄር፡ ኣሰልጥን ኰታ።ተባሂሉ ከም እተጻሕፈ መዝ118፡25።
ኣብ ኣርያም ኣብቲ ናይ እግዚኣብሔር ዝኾነ እትነብር ኣብ ሰማይ እትነብር ሰማያዊ ዝኾንካ መድሓኒና ህጂ ኣድሕን እንዳበሉ ዘመሩ።ካሊእ እውን ኣብቲ ግዜ እቲ ኣብ ጽኑዕ ኣገዛዝኣ ሮማውያን ብምንባሮም ካብ ናይ ሮማውያን ጽኑዕ ኣገዛዝኣ ኣድሕን ዝብል ናይ  ስጋ ሓሳብ ክኸውን ከሎ ፡በቲ ሓደ ወገን ድማ ካብ ናይ ነፍስን ስጋን ሞት ኣድሕን ማለቶም ነበረ።ኣብዚ ናይ ስምጋናኦም መዝሙር እንረኽባ ቃል ወዲ ዳዊት እትብል ክትከውን ከላ ንሱ መሲሕ ምዃኑ ህዝቢ ተረዲእዎም ከም ዝነበረ የመልክተልና፡(ማቴ12፡23።20፡23።20፡30፡22፡41፡9፡
ናይ ኣቦና ዳዊት መንግስት>> ማለትና ን ዳዊት ዝተዋህበ ናይ ተስፋ ቃል ምፍጻሙ የመልክት። ናይ እስራኤል መንግስቲ ናይ እግዚኣብሔር መንግስቲ ነበረት፡ናይ ሰብ ኩሉ ገዛኢ እግዚኣብሔር ዝለዝኾነ ካብ ኣዳም ክሳዕ ሳሙኤል ንህዝቢ ዝገዝእ ወይ ድማ ዝእዝዝ ዝመርሕ እግዚኣብሔር ደኣ እንበር ዝኾነ ንጉስ ኣይነበረን።
ኣብ ግዜ ሳሙኤል ግን እቶም ህዝቢ ንጉስ ደለዩ ።ብዘለው ዓበይቲ እስራኤል ተኣኪቦም ናብ ሳሙኤል ኣብ ራማ መጹ፡፭ - እንሆ፡ ንስኻ ኣሪግካ፡ ደቅኻ ኸኣ ብመገድኻ ኣይከዱን። እምበኣርሲ ሕጂ ኸም ኩሎም ህዝብታት ዚፈርደልና ንጉስ ኣንግሰልና፡ ድማ በልዎ።፮ - ዚፈርደልና ንጉስ ሀበና፡ ምስ በሉ ግና፡ እዚ ነገር እዚ ንሳሙኤል ኣጒህዮ። ሳሙኤል ከኣ ናብ እግዚኣብሄር ጸለየ።፯ - እግዚኣብሄር ድማ ንሳሙኤል በሎ፡ ኣነ ኸይነግሶም፡ ንኣይ እዮም ዝነዐቑ እምበር፡ ንኣኻ ኣይኰኑን ዝነዐቑ እሞ፡ እዞም ህዝቢ ብዝበሉኻ ዂሉ ቓሎም ስማዕ።1ይ ሳሙኤል8፡4-7። ሸመሎም ድማ። ንሳኦል ድማ ሸመሎም ጓሳ ኣድጊ ዝነበረ ሳኦል ድማ ሸመሎም።
ንእግዚኣብሔር ዘይግዛእን ንዝበለ ህዝቢ ከም ሳኦል ዝበለ ጓሳ የእዱግ ይገዝኦ።መግዛእቲ ኣምላኽ ዘይደለየ ወይ ዘይደሊ ህዝቢ ኣእዱግ ዝሕሉ ጓሳ መጺኡ ኣብ ልዕሊኡ ይነግስ።ዘገርም ነገር ንኣምላኽ ኣይንግዛእን ብምባልና ክንደይ ሓለውቲ ኣእዱግ ኮን ኢዮም ዝገዝኡናን ዝረግጹናን ዘለዉ።እስከ መግዛእቲ ኣምላኽ ንድለ።ንኣምላኽ ንስኻ ኣብ ልዕለና ኣይትነግስ ኢኻ እስከ ኣይንበሎ።ተዘይኮነ ግን ብዛዕባ ንግስነት ተመክሮ ዘይብሉ ሓላዊ እእዱግ ንጉስና ኽኸውን።ንሕናን ብዘላ ቤትናን ድማ ባረቱ ክንከውን ኢና።
መንግስቲ ሳኦል ን ኣምላኽ ዘይተኽብር መንግስቲ ምስ ኮነት ድማ  መንግስቱ ተሓዲጋ ን ባርያኡ ዳዊት ተዋህበት፡ እቲ ከም ሳኦል ዝበለ ርጉምን ን ኣምላኽ ዘየኽብር ንጉስ ንግስነቱ ተሓዲጋ ን ባርያኡ ትወሃብ።መንግስቲ ዳዊት ናይ ኣምላኽ መንግስቲ ነበረት ኣምላኽ ን ኣቦና ዳዊት  ን መንግስትኻ ካባኻ ንዝውለድ ወድኻ ክህቦ እየ ዝበሎ ንግዝይኡ ን ወዱ ሰለሙን ክኸውን ከሎ ፍጻመ ግን ጎይታና ካብኡ ከም ዝውለድ ቃል ኣትዩሉ ንዝነበር ጎይታ እዩ ዝነበረ።ገብርኤል መልኣኽ ብስራታዊ እውን ነዚ እዩ ዝተዛረበ (ሉቃ1፡33)።ካብ ናብ ብስዉር ትመሓላለፍ ዝነበረት ናይ እግዚኣብሔር መንግስቲ  ብ ወዲ ኣምላኽ ምውላድ ስለ ተገልጸት ናይ ኣቦና ዳዊት መንግስቲ ኢሎም ዘመሩ።
 ኣብዚ ግዜ እዚ መሲሕ ናብ ኢየሩሳሌም ምስ መጸ መላእ ከተማ ብኹላ<<እዚ መን እዩ??>> ኢላ ተናወጸት።ህዝቢ እዚ ካብ ገሊላ ዝመጸ ነብይ ኢየሱስ በዓል ናዝሬት ኢዩ በሉ። ሽዑ ድማ እዩ ናብ ቤተ መቅደስ ኣትዩ ናይ ንግዲ መእከል ንዝተቀየረ ቤተ መቅደስ እዚ ቤት ጾሎት እዩ ቤተ ንግዲ ኣይኮነን ኢሉ ብግልጺ ዝገሰጾምን ዝተቃወሞምን ዝጎሓፎምን።ሎሚ ነዚ ታሪኽ እዚ ክንዝክር ከለና እዛ ንነብረላ ዘለና ቤት መቅደስከ ካብ ዘበን ንጉስ ዘርዓ ያዕቆብ ክሳዕ ህጂ ናብ ምንታይ ተቀይራ ኣላ ምሕሳብ ከድልየና ኢዩ።ኣብ መቅደስ እንታይ ኮን ኢዩ ነጊሱ ዘሎ??።እዛ ናይ ኣምላኽ  ቤተከ ናብ እንታይ ተቀይራ ኣላ ኢልና ምሕሳብ ከድልየና እዩ።
ከም ወዮ ቃል ኣምላኽ ብዛዕባ ሓጢኣትኩም ተትዛረቡስ ኣይምተኾንኩምን ነርኩም ከም ዝበለና።(2ይቆሮ13፡5) ሎሚ ብዛዕባ ኣብ ካልእ እምነታት ዘሎ ጉድለት ካብ ንጽብጽብን ካብ ብዛዕባ ካልኦት ካብ ንዛረብን ብዛዕባ ቤተ ክርስቲያናኸ ናብ ምንታይ እንዳ ተቀየረት ኢያ ትኸይድ ዘላ።ከነስተውዕልን ውሽጥና ክንፍትሽን ምኽንያት ምብቲታናን ምድካምናን ምፍራስ ዕርዲታትናን ምዝማት ምርኮናን እንታይ ኢዩ ኢልና፡ካብ ስምዒታዊ ኣኽራሪ ኦርቶዶክሳውነት  ናብ ፍጹም ሓቀኛ ርዱእ ክርስቲያናዊ  ኦርቶዶክሳውነት ብምስትውዓል ክንዓቢ ይግብኣና ኢዩ።ንሕና ኣበይ ኣለና ትምህርቲ ናይ ኣቦታት ቤተ ክርስቲያንከ እንታይ ይብል ኣሎ??።ብሓቂዶ ኣብቲ ቀዳሞት ናይ ኣቦታት ቤተክርስቲያን ዝመስረቱዎን ዝሓንጸጹዎን ኣለና ኢና??።ናበይ ኢና ንጸድፍ ዘለና፡መዝሙርና ስብከትና ብዘሎ መገዲና ዓይኒና ከፊትና ኣበይ ኣለና ክንርኢ ኣለና።
ሓቂ ክንዛረብ ሎሚ ቤተ ክርስቲያን መናፍቅን ጠባርን ዝኸብረላ፡ሓቀኛን ሰባኺ ወንጌልን ዝሓስረላን ዝስጎጎላን ዝዋረደላን።ቃል ኣምላኽ ዕሽሽ ተባሂሉ ሓሳብ ሰብ ዝነግሰላ ኮይና ኣላ።ሓሳውን መፍቀሪ ረብሓን ዝኸብረላ፡ልኡም ክርስቲያናዊ ወንጌላዊ ዝዕዘመላን ዝእሰረላን።ሓሶት ዝነግሰላ ሓቂ ዝቅበረላ።ቃል ኣምላኽ ተገዲፉ ቃል ንጉስ ዝኸብረላ፡ኣምልኾ ተገዲፉ ስርዓተ ኣምልኾ ዝኸብረላ፡ካራ ዘይኮነስ ሰፈር ካራ ኢዩ ዘድልየ ተባሂሉ ዝምጎተላ፡ሓቀኛታት ሰበኽቲ ወንጌል ስሞም ዝጽልሙላን ዝጽረፉላን ተቀይራ ኣላ።ቅዱስ ፓትሪያርክ ተሓይሩ ብተወገዙ ሰባት ሓቂ ዝዕበጠላ ኮይና ኣላ።ነዚ ኢና እንበኣር ከም ጎይታና ክንድንኩል ክንለዓል ዘለና።
ሎሚ ብዛዕባ ካብ እምነትና ወጻኢ ዝኾኑ ክንምድር ግዜ ዘባኸናዮ ዘኽሰረና ብምርዳእ፡ከምኡ እውን ንኻልኦት ክንወቅስ ካብ እነንቅድ ብ መጀመርታ ቤትና ከመይ ኣላ ኢልና ቀው ኢልና ምዕዛብ ከድልየና እዩ??።(1ይቆሮ5፡12) ጉዳይ ቤተ መቅደስ ኦርተደክሳዊት ተዋህዶ ቤተ ክርስትያን ዘሓበሻ ኣበይ ኣሎ??ከመይ ኣሎ??።፡ቤተ ክርስትያን ናብ ምንታይ ተቀይራ ኣላ፡ናብ ቤተ ምክፊፋል ፡ናብ ቤተ ኮሬነላት፡ ናብ ቤተ ነገስታት ፡ናብ ቤተ ፖሎቲካ፡ ናብ ቤተ ኣጻላላም፡ናብ ቤተ ንግዲ ሎሚ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ተዝመጽእሲ ምስ ኣዮናት ኮን ምረኸበና ምስቶም ቤተ ክርስትያን እንዳ ተሓመሰት ከላ ጽቡቅ ኣላ ኢሎም ዝኸዱ ዘለዉዶ ምስቶም ኣብ ውሽጣ ኣትዮም ዝነግዱ ወይሲ ምስቶም ዘናግዱ።ከምቶ ኣብ ግዝይኡ ዝጎሓፎም ዶኾን ምጎሓፈና ነይሩ።ንሶም እኮ ጽቡቅ ኣለና ኢዮም ዝብሉ ዝነበሩ ምስትውዓል ስለ ዘይነበረም።ግንከ ኣብ ዓይኒ ኣምላኽስ ናብ ቤተ ንግዲ ደኣ ን ቤት ኣምላኽ ቀይሮሞ ነበሩ።
ትዘገርም ጎይታናን መድሓኒናን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ካብቲ ቤተ መቅደስ ከውጽኦም ከሎ ገሊኦም ተጸሊሉ እዩ ኢሎም ይሓስቡ ነበሩ ስለምንታይሲ እቲ ንግዲ ኣብ ቤተ መቅደስ እቲ ዘጸይፍ ንዕኦም ከምኡ ኢሉ ስለ ዝጸንሖም ለሚዶሞ ሓድሽ መሲሉ ኣይርኣዮምን ኢዩ ነበረ።ሓድሽ ንዕኦም እቲ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ዝሰርሖ ነበረ ጥራሕ እዩ ዝነበረ።ሎሚ እንበኣር ከምቲ ንሱ ቤተይሲ ቤት ጾሎት ትበሃል ንስኹም ግን ቤተ ንግዲ ገበርኩማ ዝበሎም። ተዓጢቅና፡እዚ ቤት ጸሎት ደኣ እንበር ቤተ ንግዲ ኣይትግበሩዎ።እዚ ብስራት ወንጌል ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ዝብሰረሉ ደኣ እንበር ቤት ካልእ ኣይትግበሩዎ ንበሎም።

Egypt’s Pope says Islamist rulers neglect Copts April 26, 2013 Egypt’s Christians feel sidelined, ignored and neglected by Muslim Brotherhood-led authorities, who proffer assurances but have taken little or no action to protect them from violence, Coptic Pope Tawadros II said. In his first interview since emerging from seclusion after eight people were killed in sectarian violence between Muslims and Christians this month, the pope called official accounts of clashes at Cairo’s Coptic cathedral on April 7 “a pack of lies”. He also voiced dismay at attempts by President Mohamed Mursi’s Islamist allies to purge thousands of judges appointed under ousted President Hosni Mubarak, saying the judiciary was a pillar of Egyptian society and should not be touched. “There is a sense of marginalization and rejection, which we can call social isolation,” the pope told Reuters on Thursday of the feelings of Christians, who he said make up at least 15 percent of Egypt’s 84 million people. Most Egyptians are Sunni Muslims. Attacks on churches and sectarian tensions increased significantly after the rise of Islamists to power following the 2011 uprising that overthrew Mubarak, even though Christians had demonstrated alongside Muslims for his removal. Asked about the government’s response to this month’s attacks, he said: “It made a bad judgment and it was negligent… I would have expected better security for the place and the people.” Mursi and his ministers tried to mend fences with the 60-year-old Coptic pontiff after the April 5 clashes in the town of El Khusus, north of Cairo, in which four Christians and one Muslim were killed. Sectarian violence spread to the capital’s sprawling St Mark’s Cathedral, the pope’s headquarters, after the funerals. “Sometimes we get nice feelings from officials, but such feelings require actions, and the actions are slow, and maybe little, and sometimes don’t exist at all,” the pope said. Riot police appeared to stand aside during what was the first attack on the seat of Christianity in Egypt in more than 1,400 years, although Coptic churches and community centers have suffered periodic violence for years. EMIGRATION OUT OF FEAR The pope said he was concerned by signs that some Copts were emigrating “because they are fearing the new regime”. Others were going abroad to study, seek work or join family, he said. In a concerted drive, the interior minister paid a condolence call on Tawadros on Wednesday and the ministers of information and tourism visited him on Thursday for a meeting televised on state media. But the pope said that beyond promises to investigate the incidents and bring the perpetrators to justice, nothing practical had been done to improve the lot of Copts. “After the last incidents, we gained some promises from the authorities and the government, from some ministers, but till now there is nothing new,” he said. Christians have long complained of discrimination in employment and treatment by the authorities and called for changes in laws to make it as easy to build or renovate churches as it is for mosques. “Christians’ problems and hardships have two sides, a religious side and a civilian one. The religious side involves two main issues: building churches and land,” the pope said. “I expect the government to facilitate and solve the chronic problems… For example, the building of a new church takes more than 15-16 years to get permission.” SCATHING The black-robed pontiff, carrying a white-tipped staff and a Coptic cross in his hand, was particularly scathing about an account of the cathedral violence posted on the Facebook page of Mursi’s national security adviser, Essam Haddad. “It is 100 percent rejected,” Tawadros said. “This statement was in English, directed to the U.S. State Department, and was sent with a CD to explain their position and to cover up, but this statement is a pack of lies. It did not tell the truth.” Haddad’s office said Christians had instigated the clashes by vandalizing cars outside the cathedral during the funeral procession, and that firearms and petrol bombs had been used from inside the church compound, provoking the security forces. A Reuters witness saw at least two people carrying guns and petrol bombs on the roof of the cathedral that day, but the pope said mourners had merely been reacting to an assault. “They did not come to make violence, they came for a funeral, and when they came out of the church, they started to be subjected to violence. And hence they acted. There is a difference between action and reaction,” he said. The pope said the church had not even been asked to provide its account of events to government officials. Pope Tawadros, the 118th head of Coptic Orthodox church, was picked on November 5 in a ceremony steeped in the traditions of a community that predates Islam’s arrival in Egypt. He studied pharmacology in Egypt and England and managed a state-owned pharmaceutical factory for a few years before becoming a monk. The 60-year-old pontiff succeeded Pope Shenouda III, who had led Egyptian Christians for four decades, clashing early on with former President Anwar Sadat but enjoying warmer relations with Mubarak, who acted as the Copts’ political protector. By contrast, Mursi has kept his distance, staying away from Tawadros’ inauguration and shunning Coptic Christmas celebrations, to avoid alienating hardline conservative Salafi Islamists who refuse to recognize Christian holidays. It is with deep sadness and much pain that we received the news of the kidnapping of our two brothers in Christ, the Syrian Orthodox Metropolitan of Aleppo, Mar Gregorios Y. Ibrahim, and the Greek Orthodox Metropolitan of Aleppo and Iskandarun, Bishop Boulos Yazigi
.
The two prominent clergymen were kidnapped on Monday,22 April, 2013 on their way back from the Turkish borders. Since then conflicting reports have circulated about their possible release, but the diocesan offices have confirmed as of today that the Syrian Bishops remain missing and their whereabouts unclear
.
Both clergy are very well known, respected and eminent Christian leaders. Archbishop Boulos is the brother of the newly installed Patriarch of Antioch while Mar Gregorios is a worldwide known proponent of Ecumenism and Interreligious dialogue Such acts of terrorism further destroy the fabric of the community in the Middle East which for centuries has been used to having the adherers of the three monotheistic religions living harmoniously and peacefully with each other. We call on our brothers and sisters of all
peace promoting religions to denounce this act of terrorism and pray for the safety of the kidnapped Bishops.

We ask the leaders of the democratic countries around the world to condemn this act of terrorism and pursue the perpetrators, securing the harmless homecoming of these two clergymen.

The Council of Oriental Orthodox Churches (COOC) in Great Britain and Ireland prays with its sister Syrian Orthodox Church today beseeching our Lord to be with Archbishop Boulos and Mar Gregorios, protecting them from evil and harm and securing their safe return home.

He added that a similar visit was paid 40 years ago by His Holiness Pope Shenouda III on May 10, 1973.

Islam’s Bane

father-zFrontpage Interview’s guest today is Coptic priest Fr. Zakaria Botros, who al Qaeda has called “one of the most wanted infidels in the world,” issuing a 60 million dollar bounty on his head. Popular Arabic magazines also call him “Islam’s public enemy #1?. He hosts a television program, “Truth Talk,” on Life TV. His two sites are Islam-Christianity.net and FatherZakaria.net. He was recently awarded the Daniel of the Year award.
FP: Let’s begin with your own personal story, in terms of Islam and Christianity.
Botros: I am a Copt. In my early 20s, I became a priest. Of course, in predominantly Muslim Egypt, Christians—priests or otherwise—do not talk about religion with Muslims. My older brother, a passionate Christian learned that lesson too late: after preaching to Muslims, he was eventually ambushed by Muslims who cut out his tongue and murdered him. Far from being deterred or hating Muslims, I eventually felt more compelled to share the Good News with them. Naturally, this created many problems: I was constantly harassed, threatened, and eventually imprisoned and tortured for one year, simply for preaching to Muslims. Egyptian officials charged me with abetting “apostasy,” that is, for being responsible for the conversion of Muslims to Christianity. Another time I was arrested while boarding a plane out of Egypt. Eventually, however, I managed to flee my native country and resided for a time in Australia and England. Anyway, my life-story with Christianity and Islam is very long and complicated. In fact, an entire book about it was recently published.
FP: I apologize for asking this, but what were some of the tortures you endured when you were imprisoned?
Botros: Due to my preaching the Gospel, Egyptian soldiers broke into my home putting their guns to my head. Without telling me why, they arrested me and placed me in an extremely small prison cell (1.8×1.5×1.8 meters, which was further problematic, since I am 1.83 meters tall), with other inmates, and in well over 100 degree temperatures, with little ventilation, no windows, and no light. No beds of course, we slept on the floor—in shifts, as there was not enough room for all of us to lie down. Due to the lack of oxygen, we used to also take shifts lying with our noses under the crack of the cell door to get air. As a result, I developed a kidney infection (receiving, of course, no medical attention). Mosquitoes plagued us. Food was delivered in buckets; we rarely even knew what the gruel was. The prison guards would often spit in the bucket in front of us, as well as fling their nose pickings in it.
FP: My heart goes out to you in terms of this terrible suffering you endured. What is your primary purpose in what you do?
Botros: Simple: the salvation of souls. As I always say, inasmuch as I may reject Islam, I love Muslims. Thus, to save the latter, I have no choice but to expose the former for the false religion it is. Christ commanded us to spread the Good News. There is no rule that says Christians should proselytize the world—except for Muslims! Of course, trying to convert the latter is more dangerous. But we cannot forsake them. This is more important considering that many Muslims are “religious” and truly seek to please God; yet are they misdirected. So I want to take their sincerity and piety and direct it to the True Light.
FP: In what way can you summarize for us why you think that Islam is a “false” religion?
Botros: Theologically, as I am a Christian priest, I believe that only Christianity offers the truth. Based on my faith in Christ, I reject all other religious systems as man-made and thus not reflective of divine truths.Moreover, one of the greatest crimes committed by Muhammad—a crime which he shall surely never be forgiven for—is that he denied the grace and mercy that Christ brought, and took humanity back to the age of the law.
But faith aside, common sense alone makes it clear that, of all the world’s major religions, Islam is most certainly false. After all, while I may not believe in, say, Buddhism, still, it obviously offers a good philosophical system and people follow it apparently for its own intrinsic worth. The same cannot be said about Islam. Of all the religions it is the only one that has to threaten its adherents with death if they try to break away; that, from its inception, in order to “buy” followers, has been dedicated to fulfilling some of the worst impulses of man—for conquest, sex, plunder, pride. History alone demonstrates all this: while Christianity was spread far and wide by Christians who altruistically gave up their lives, simply because they believed in Christ, Islam spread by force, by the edge of the sword, by fear, threats, and lurid enticements to the basest desires of man. Islam is by far the falsest religion—an assertion that is at once theologically, philosophically, and historically demonstrable.
FP: You always document your discussions with Islamic sources. Why do Muslim clerics and imams have such a difficulty discussing what Islam itself teaches and instead just attack you personally?
Botros: I think the answer is obvious. The Islamic sources, the texts, speak for themselves. Muslims have no greater enemy than their own scriptures—particularly the Hadith and Sira—which constantly scandalize and embarrass Muslims. To date, I have done well over 500 different episodes dedicated to various topics regarding Islam. And for every one of these episodes, all my material comes directly from Islam’s textual sources, particularly usul al-fiqh—the Koran, hadith, and ijma of the ulema as found in their tafsirs.
So what can the sheikhs of Islam do? If they try to address the issue I raise based on Islam’s texts and sharia, they will have no choice but to agree—for instance that concubinage is legal, or that drinking camel urine is advocated. The only strategy left them, then, is to ignore all that I present and attack my person, instead.
And when well-meaning Muslims ask their leaders to respond to these charges, one of their favorite responses is to quote the Koran, where it says “Do not ask questions of things that will hurt you.”

FP: So what does it say about a religion whose religious teachers and members have to ignore their own theological texts because they cannot endure what those texts really say? What sense does any of this make?
Botros: Again, this is a reflection of the fact that Islam is less a faith, more a vehicle for empowerment. As you say, what is the point for a person to closely guard and follow a religion that he himself has to rationalize, ignore, minimize, constantly reinterpret, dissemble over, and so forth? The fact is, most Muslims do not know what is in their own texts; at best, they know, and here and there try to follow, the Five Pillars. This is why the issues I broach often traumatize Muslims—like a freshening slap across the face: a short, sharp, shock. The stubborn, who take it as an attack of “us versus them,” irrespective of truths, just fume and plot to kill me; the other, more reasonable Muslims, who are really searching for the truth, end up waking up to the biggest hoax perpetrated on the human race in 1400 years, and many come to the ultimate Truth.

A better question is why do the ulema hide these issues from both infidel scrutiny as well as the eyes of the average Muslim? One would think that if anyone is dedicated to the truth it would be the ulema; yet their deceptive tactics reveal the opposite. For instance, it is often the case that, after I quote problematic passages from certain Islamic books, they have a strange tendency of disappearing from the book shelves of the Arabic world.

The bottom line is, many Muslims think of Islam less as a spiritual system dedicated to ascertaining and putting one on the course of the truth, and more a way of life—first and foremost not to be questioned—that if followed closely, will result, not only in future paradise, but earthly success, honor, and power.

FP: You have pointed to a hadith that instructs women to breastfeed men. What exactly is going on here and what do the ulema (prominent Muslim theologians past and present) have to say?

Botros: This is a perfect example of what I just said. After I made popular the Islamic notion of rida‘ al-kabir—wherein women must “breastfeed” strange men in order to be in their presence—instead of confronting their own hadiths which documented this, the ulema attacked me. Why? Because they have no answer. Much easier to turn it around and slander me, instead of simply addressing their own texts.

Past and present, the ulema have by and large supported this shameful practice—including Ibn Taymiyya, “sheikh al-Islam.” Moreover, sometime after I publicly documented rida‘ al-kabir, a top Islamic scholar in al-Azhar—the most authoritative institution in Sunni Islam—actually issued a fatwa authorizing Muslim women to “breastfeed” strange men, to which the Egyptian populace (happily) revolted. Yet when I alone mentioned it earlier, I was accused of “distorting” Islam.

FP: So Islamic texts command that women must breastfeed strange men. Ok, so who would create such an instruction? For what purpose? Who even wrote this down and thought of it? Let’s even say that I am being open-minded and am ready to accept this as an understandable teaching. What’s the rationale here? Yes, women should breastfeed strange men because. . . .?

Botros: Because Muhammad—“Allah’s prayers and blessings be upon him”—said so. Period. Who created such a practice? Muhammad. Why? Who knows; the texts say he laughed after commanding the woman to breastfeed that man. Maybe he was joking around, trying to see how far people will believe in him as a prophet? The top hadith compilers wrote it down, preserving it for later generations. As for what purpose does it serve, one can ask that question about any number of things Muhammad said: what purpose does drinking camel urine serve? What purpose does commanding men to wear only silver as opposed to gold serve? What purpose does banning music serve? What purpose does anathematizing dogs serve? What purpose does commanding people to eat only with their right hands, never their left, serve? What purpose does commanding Muslims to lick all their fingers after eating serve? Simple: sharia law’s totalitarian approach serves to brainwash Muslims, making them automatons that never question their religion, or, in the words of their own Koran, “Do not ask questions that may prove harmful to them.”

FP: Tell us a bit about Muhammed’s sex life as documented by Islamic sources.

Botros: This is a very embarrassing topic for me to discuss; and I only do so out of my love for Muslims—though I know it is painful for them to hear. Yet such is how healing begins, through initial pain and suffering. In short, according to Islam’s scriptures, Muhammad was, well, a pervert: he used to suck on the tongues of young boys and girls; he dressed in women’s clothing (and received “revelations” in this state); he had at least 66 “wives”; Allah supposedly sent him special “revelations” allowing him to have sex with his step-daughter-in-law, Zainab, and to have more wives than the rest of Muslims; he constantly dwelt and obsessed over sex—his first question to a “talking donkey” was if the latter “liked sex”—and he painted a very lurid and lusty picture of paradise, where, according to some top Muslim interpreters, Muslims will be “busy deflowering virgins” all day; and he had sex with a dead woman. There is more, but why dwell on such shameful things? Again, I stress, it is not I who maintains this but rather Islam’s own books—much, of course, not known to non-Arabic readers, as they have never been translated (except, as I understand, by some heroes at a website called Jihad Watch).

FP: Yes, that’s our friend Robert Spencer’s website. But wait, here’s the key. Many people right now will point at you and make accusations against you for saying these supposedly horrible things. But again, the issue is not that you are making these allegations. The issue is that Islamic scriptures themselves say it. So if Muslims are offended or shocked by these realities then they must confront their own scriptures and deal with them. They need to confront who wrote them and why, and either accept them or categorically reject them as lies, etc. For the record, pinpoint some Islamic scriptures for us that detail these ingredients of Muhammad’s sex life so that, once again, we crystallize that the issue is not you making accusations, but simply revealing what Islamic scriptures themselves say.

Botros: Where does one start? According to the Koran alone (33:37), Allah made it legitimate for Muhammad to marry his own daughter-in-law, whom he lusted after. A few verses later (33:50), Allah made it legitimate for Muhammad to have sex with any woman who “offered” herself to him—a privilege which was allowed for Muhammad alone. Indeed, these “revelations” which granted Muhammad all his sexual desires were so frequent that his child-wife, Aisha, would often say to Muhammad, “My, your Lord is always quick to fulfill your desires!” And to his faithful followers, Muhammad permitted all the infidel woman that they could capture, as concubines (Koran 4:3). All this is from the Koran alone; it would take several hours just to go over the hadiths and sira accounts dealing with the sexual perversions of Muhammad. In fact, I have devoted numerous episodes dealing specifically with Muhammad’s sexual depravities—including his sleeping with a dead woman, have a fetish for the smell of menstruation blood, dressing in women’s clothing, and so forth. FP: One of your more popular videos is your Ten Demands. What has the impact been of your ministry?

Botros: It has been glorious—praise be to God alone, whose instrument I am. Haya TV (“Life TV”) and I receive daily countless e-mails from Muslim converts to Christianity. Our programs reach millions of Arabic speaking viewers around the world. It is even banned in certain countries, such as Saudi Arabia, even though people from there still manage to access our programs.

FP: How about the feedback you receive?

Botros: Mostly positive; mostly from those who have, as I call it, “crossed over,” that is, converts to Christianity. And of course some are angry and full of hate. But like I said, it is not feedback—positive or negative—that motivates me, but rather unconditional love for those sincere souls living in bondage.

FP: You’ve obviously been instrumental in Muslims coming to Christ, yes?

Botros: That’s what they tell me. In fact, many of them tell me I am like a father to them, which I am honored to be called, though I remind all we have but One Father. For instance, one man recently contacted me, in tears, telling me how, when he was a Muslim, he wanted to kill me—to cut off my head! He spent much time and effort plotting how he can find me so he can kill me (and “please” Allah and his prophet). So he kept watching my shows, hoping somehow to find a clue that would help him locate me. Instead, a miracle occurred: over time, he realized I wasn’t making things up, that everything I said was in fact in Islam’s books. He stopped hating me. And in time, he came to Christ. It is stories like these that keep me going.

FP: In your view, who was Muhammad?
 Botros: Well, I have received the answer from Islam’s own books. Ironically, Ibn Taymiyya, who happens to be the hero of the modern mujahid movement, explained the prerequisites of prophet-hood very well. One of the things he stressed is that, in order to know if a prophet is in fact from God, we must study his sira, or his biography, much like the Christ’s statement that “You shall know them from their fruits.” So, taking Ibn Taymiyya’s advice, I recently devoted a number of episodes analyzing the biography of Muhammad, which unequivocally proves that he was not a prophet, that his only “fruits” were death, destruction, and lust. Indeed, he himself confessed and believed that he was being visited and tormented by a “jinn,” or basically a demon, until his wife Khadija convinced him that it was the angel Gabriel—which, of course is ironic, since Muhammad himself later went on to say that the testimony of a woman is half that of a man: maybe over time he realized she was wrong, and that his first assumption was right.

FP: Fr. Botros, thank you for visiting us today.
